I’m Karen, a licensed esthetician living in Seoul. I’ve used the same affordable Korean concealer for more than a year, and I use it on everything: dark circles, old acne marks, and the redness around my nose.
Korean concealers are known for being cheap, natural-looking, and great at color correcting. This week I went to a big Olive Young, Korea’s biggest beauty store, and swatched the concealers Koreans actually buy. Here’s the one I use, the one I liked in store, and how to find them online wherever you live.
About my skin
Licensed esthetician. Combination skin, pores are my biggest worry. I cover three things with concealer: dark circles, acne marks, and redness around my nose. My under-eyes get dry, so I notice fast when a concealer settles into lines.
If you only read one part, read this:
- What I use (1+ year): The Saem Cover Perfection Triple Pot Concealer, Matte. Green, beige and peach in one pot.
- The one I liked in store: CLIO Kill Cover Airy-Fit Concealer. Thin, light coverage.
- Olive Young’s “No.1 concealer” sign: LUNA Long Lasting Tip Concealer, with the widest shade range.
- Easiest first Korean concealer: The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer, one of the cheapest.
- Korean shades run light. 21 is light, 23 is light-medium.

Why Korean concealer? Because it’s made to look like skin
If you’re used to thick, full-coverage concealer, Korean concealer feels different. The goal here isn’t to hide your face. It’s to look like you have nothing on, just better skin. So most Korean concealers go on thin, blend into skin, and are made to be layered only where you need them.
The other thing Korea does really well is color correcting. Walk past the concealer section at Olive Young and you’ll see green, peach and beige sitting together in one little pot, because Koreans don’t just cover a spot. They cancel the redness or the darkness first, then cover lightly. That’s exactly how I use mine, and it’s why one small pot handles my dark circles, acne marks and redness all at once.
And they’re affordable. Many of the most popular Korean concealers are some of the cheapest makeup on the shelf, which makes them an easy thing to try.
How I tested these Olive Young concealers
I went to a large Olive Young in Seoul in mid-October 2026 and swatched the TRY ME testers on my wrist and arm. The Saem pot is the only one I’ve worn on my face for a long time, so that’s the only full review here. For the rest, I’m clear about what I felt in store and what the display says.
1. The Saem Cover Perfection Triple Pot Concealer (Matte): what I use
This is my concealer. I’ve used it for more than a year, and I haven’t found a reason to switch.
It’s one small pot with three colors, and I use all three. Green goes on the redness around my nose. Beige goes on acne marks and spots. Peach goes under my eyes for dark circles. One pot, three problems.
Why I keep buying it: it’s affordable, the coverage is good, it looks natural instead of thick, and it lasts through the day. The one thing I don’t love: under my eyes it can get dry and settle into fine lines. My under-eyes are dry, so I use only a little there.
How I use it: I put it on before my cushion, with my finger, tapping it in. Under my eyes I use a tiny amount and tap it out right away. That’s how I keep the dryness to a minimum.

There are two versions: Matte and Glow. I use Matte. The Olive Young display had an awards badge on it.
Karen’s notes
| Colors | Green, beige, peach in one pot |
|---|---|
| Versions | Matte (what I use) and Glow |
| How long I’ve used it | More than a year |
| What I like | Affordable, good coverage, natural finish, lasts all day |
| What I don’t | Can get dry and settle under the eyes |
| Best for | Anyone covering redness, spots and dark circles at once |
| Would I buy it again? | Yes, it’s my everyday one |

2. CLIO Kill Cover Airy-Fit Concealer: the one I liked in store
Of everything I swatched that day, this was the one I liked. I’ve only tried it in store, not worn it for a full day, so take this as a first impression.
CLIO has two concealers side by side. The display calls Airy-Fit the “slim-fit cover” and Founwear the “stick-tight full cover.” Airy-Fit is the smaller, lighter one. Shade 1.5 Fair was marked BEST on the display.

Karen’s notes
| Size | 3g |
|---|---|
| Shades I saw | 1.5 Fair (marked BEST), 02 Lingerie |
| Store says | Slim-fit cover |
| My take | My favorite swatch of the day. Tried in store only |

3. LUNA Long Lasting Tip Concealer: the bestseller
The LUNA display literally says “No.1 concealer” (1등 컨실러) in big letters, and it has the widest shade range of anything I saw. There are a few versions with confusing names: Cover Fit EX, Fixing Fit and a Corrector. Check which one you’re buying.
I swatched it but haven’t worn it, so I can’t tell you how it lasts on a face. If your skin is deeper than most Korean shade ranges cover, this is the line I’d check first.

Karen’s notes
| Shades I saw | 0.7 Ivory, 15C, 17N, 21C, 23N, 24W, Brightener |
|---|---|
| Store says | “No.1 concealer,” stronger cover |
| My take | Best shade range on the shelf. Swatched only |

4. CLIO Kill Cover Founwear Concealer: full coverage
Airy-Fit’s bigger sibling. The display calls it the “stick-tight full cover” concealer, and it’s twice the size (6g). If you want more coverage than Airy-Fit, this is the one CLIO points you to. I swatched it next to Airy-Fit, and Airy-Fit was the one I liked more.

5. The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer: the easy first pick
This is one of the cheapest good concealers in Korea, and the display calls it the brand’s “best concealer.” It’s a regular liquid tip concealer, so it’s easier to carry than my pot. The Saem also makes a concealer pencil and a concealer palette.

Karen’s notes
| Shades I saw | 1.0 Clear Beige, 1.5 Natural Beige, 2.0 Light Beige, Brightener (new) |
|---|---|
| My take | Easy, affordable first Korean concealer. Swatched only |

6. Etude Double Lasting Cover Talk Concealer Pot: new this season
A new pot concealer from Etude that was just out at Olive Young. The display says it sticks to skin “like gum.” Shades on the shelf were 01 Light Ivory, 02 Natural Beige and 03. It’s new, so it may take a while to show up abroad.

How to pick your shade from abroad
Korean shades run light. Most brands start around 13 to 17 (very fair) and go up to 23 or 25. 21 is light, 23 is light-medium. Some lines, like LUNA, go a little further.
The letter is your undertone. C is cool (pink), N is neutral, W is warm (yellow). If you’re not sure, start with N.
Color correctors are a different thing. Green cancels redness, peach cancels dark circles. That’s why I like a pot with all three colors: shade matching matters less.
Best Korean concealer for dark circles vs. blemishes
| Your problem | What to use | My pick from this list |
|---|---|---|
| Dark circles | Peach corrector, thin layer | The Saem Triple Pot (peach side) |
| Redness around the nose, red acne | Green corrector | The Saem Triple Pot (green side) |
| Acne marks and spots | Beige that matches your skin | The Saem Triple Pot (beige side), or CLIO Founwear for more coverage |
| Light, everyday coverage | A thin tip concealer | CLIO Kill Cover Airy-Fit |
| Deeper skin tone | The widest shade range | LUNA Long Lasting Tip Concealer |
| Tight budget | An affordable tip concealer | The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer |
| Dry under-eyes | Less product, tap right away | Any of these, just a tiny amount |
Buying Korean concealer from abroad
- Match the full product name. The Saem, CLIO and LUNA each make several concealers with similar names.
- Shade names can differ by seller. Look for the number (1.5, 21C) rather than the color name.
- Prices are higher than in Korea. That’s normal for imported K-beauty. Buy from the brand’s official store when you can.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the best concealer at Olive Young?
It depends on what you’re covering. The one I’ve used for over a year is The Saem Triple Pot (green, beige and peach in one). LUNA Long Lasting Tip had a “No.1 concealer” sign and the widest shade range, and CLIO Kill Cover Airy-Fit was my favorite swatch in store.
What’s the best Korean concealer for dark circles?
I use the peach side of The Saem Triple Pot Concealer for dark circles. If you have dry under-eyes like me, use a very thin layer.
What’s the best Korean concealer for acne marks and redness?
A green corrector for redness and a beige that matches your skin for spots. The Saem Triple Pot has both in one pot.
Is The Saem concealer good?
I’ve used The Saem Triple Pot for more than a year. It’s affordable, covers well and looks natural. It can get dry under the eyes.
Can I buy Korean concealers outside Korea?
Yes. The Saem, CLIO and LUNA are all sold on Amazon. Newer products like the Etude pot can take longer to appear.
Do Korean concealers come in dark shades?
Most ranges stop around 23 to 25. LUNA had the widest range I saw at Olive Young.
My long-term opinion is only about The Saem Triple Pot Concealer, which I use. Everything else is based on in-store swatches at Olive Young in Seoul and what the displays said. Availability on Amazon can change. Everyone’s skin is different.
